‘Wisteria sinensis Caroline’, also known as wisteria, is a climbing plant with beautiful, very long, dark blue-purple flower clusters that appear in abundance in May and June. A second bloom may also occur in September. It is a fast-growing climbing plant that can reach a maximum height of 10 meters. To keep the wisteria in the best shape, it is best to train it along a pergola, fence, or trellis. Ensure there is sturdy support to which the branches are attached and where it can climb towards the sun. Additionally, it is important to prune the plant back regularly during the growing season or in early spring. Ideally, prune twice a year.
