Using a WaterWick watering wick
Step 1: Fill the water reservoir with water. Note: ensure that the water level is not too high and does not touch the roots of the orchid.
Step 2: Push the watering wick(s) into the bottom of the orchid's plastic nursery pot until the rod has completely disappeared inside.
Step 3: Place the wicks properly in the water reservoir. This allows the orchid to absorb water itself when it is thirsty and dry.
Step 4: Check every week if there is still enough water in the water reservoir.
Step 5: Refill the saucer or pot with water approximately once every two weeks.
Tip:
Check when watering if the orchid needs water. Is this the case? Then the orchid is dry and needs water. If the roots are green, you can wait a little longer before watering.

Please note: plants are a living product and may differ from the photo and description. Plants may vary by 10% in height. The height of the plant is measured vertically from the bottom of the nursery pot to the top leaf. Our plants are delivered in a plastic nursery pot. All plants are packed and shipped directly from the nursery. Plants cannot be returned. Please note: our Corten steel products are delivered unrusted. Corten steel is a ‘living’ material that can discolour and deform during the rusting process. This may result in irregularities in colour and shape. Some products are custom-made. These products cannot be returned. Therefore, please always contact us in advance to discuss this. The photos of garden furnishing products were taken from ground level. Please note that adjustable feet or placement feet may be present under the product. These must be attached to a concrete foundation. Read our general terms and conditions.
