The Areca Palm is one of the most well-known palm species. This houseplant is also known as Dypsis Lutescens. The Areca Palm is better known as the golden palm.

The best location for the Areca palm is in partial shade. Direct sunlight is not good for this plant. Ideally, place the plant at least 5 meters away from a window.

Give the Areca Palm sufficient water, but prevent the roots from becoming waterlogged. The potting soil should always feel slightly moist.
