Features

The warm appearance of the Corten steel complements the stacked wood perfectly. Beautiful for outdoors, but certainly functional as well. The open side allows the wood to dry. With the modular system, you can determine the size and shape yourself. The connecting piece ensures that the boxes can be stacked easily and securely. This Corten steel wood storage turns orange-brown over time. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material becomes covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 5-year warranty.
  • Excluding connectors.
  • We recommend always connecting the parts together for greater stability.
  • Holes for wall mounting (excl. bolts and nuts).

Important points to note:

  • Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular stains.
  • Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions. With our rust accelerator, you can make your product rust faster.
  • We advise against using Corten steel within 2 km of a coastline.
  • During the rusting process, rust water may come off the product.
  • The warranty is void if you drill or grind into the material in a manner not prescribed.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.
