With the BUNKE, you create your own wood storage unit. This way, the design always matches your garden. The warm appearance of the Corten steel complements the stacked wood perfectly. Beautiful for outdoors, but certainly looks great indoors too! Thanks to a modular system, you can determine the size and shape yourself. The connecting piece ensures that the boxes can be stacked easily and securely. The Corten steel BUNKE turns orange-brown over time. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material becomes covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion.

  • Box dimensions: 550 x 550 mm.
  • Corten steel is very strong, wear-resistant, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and durable.
  • Corten steel material thickness of the boxes is 4 mm.
  • Corten steel material thickness of the connectors is 6 mm.
  • Connectors not included.
  • We recommend always connecting the boxes together for greater stability. We offer cross-shaped and T-shaped connectors.

Important points to note:

  • Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular spots.
  • Always place the wood storage on a flat, stable surface.
  • Use the wall mounting to guarantee the stability of the wood storage.
  • Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of the Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions. With our rust accelerator, you can make your product rust faster.
  • Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rusting through. Owatrol protects the material and prevents it from staining.
  • We advise against using Corten steel within a radius of 2 km from a coastline.
  • During the rusting process, rust water may run off the product.
  • The warranty is void if you drill or grind into the material in a manner not prescribed.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.
