Soothing and atmospheric: our Corten steel pond wall is the perfect addition to gardens. The pond wall is suitable for placement as a freestanding wall on the long or short side of any pond. This makes the pond an even more dynamic part of the garden. We have freestanding pond walls with a letterbox waterfall, or three small pipes from which the water flows. So, a matching wall for every pond and garden! The color of the Corten steel is orange-brown and is formed by a natural layer of rust. Another name for Corten steel is weathering steel: weather conditions have a positive influence on the material. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material becomes covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. This ensures the pond walls have a long lifespan.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 5-year warranty (pumps 2-year warranty).
  • Customization is possible.
  • Includes waterfall and pump.
  • Corten steel pond walls are wear-resistant, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and durable.
  • Standard material thickness of the Corten steel is 2 mm.
  • Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
  • Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects and ensures that the Corten steel no longer stains.

Important points to note:

  • Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular rust stains.
  • We advise against using Corten steel within a radius of 2 km of a coastline.
  • During the rusting process, rust water may come off the product.
  • The warranty will be void if you drill or grind in a manner that is not prescribed.
  • The pH value of the water must be neutral (7) so that the material is not affected.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.

    USE IN WINTER:

    • Always unplug the unit during frost.
    • Lower the water level to at least 10 cm below the rim.
    • A frost protector is recommended (available at any garden center or hardware store).
    • The pump can remain in the water if the above conditions are met. You can, of course, also remove the pump from the water and let it overwinter underwater in a frost-free location.

    Let op: planten zijn een levend product en kunnen afwijken van de foto en omschrijving. Planten van 100 cm of hoger kunnen 10% afwijken in hoogte. Planten van 100 cm of lager kunnen 10 cm afwijken in hoogte. De hoogte van de plant is gemeten vanaf de onderkant van de kweekpot tot aan het bovenste blad in een verticale lijn. Onze planten worden geleverd in een plastic kweekpot. Alle planten worden direct verpakt en verzonden vanuit de kwekerij. Planten kunnen niet geretourneerd worden.

    Let op: onze cortenstaalproducten worden ongeroest geleverd. Cortenstaal is een ‘levend’ materiaal dat tijdens het roestproces kan verkleuren en vervormen. Hierdoor kunnen oneffenheden in kleur en vorm ontstaan.

    Sommige producten worden als maatwerk vervaardigd. Deze producten kunnen niet geretourneerd worden. Neem daarom altijd vooraf contact met ons op om dit te bespreken.

    De foto’s van tuininrichtingsproducten zijn gemaakt vanaf maaiveldhoogte. Houd er rekening mee dat er stelpoten of plaatsingsvoeten onder het product kunnen zitten. Deze dienen op een betonpoer te worden bevestigd.
