The water cascades over the edge of the bowl, bringing extra movement to the garden. The Corten steel water table with bowls fits perfectly amidst all the greenery. All our water tables come standard with a pump and fountains with LED lighting. So you can enjoy it to the fullest even in the dark!

The color of Corten steel is orange-brown and gives the water table with bowls a warm and powerful appearance. It is formed by a natural layer of rust. Another name for Corten steel is weathering steel: weather conditions have a positive influence on the material. Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material becomes covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. As a result, the water tables have a long lifespan. Specifications 5-year warranty (pumps 2-year warranty – LED lighting 1-year warranty). Corten steel water tables with bowls are wear-resistant, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and durable. Standard material thickness of the Corten steel is 3 mm. Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions. Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects and ensures that the Corten steel no longer stains.

Points to note

  • Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture is not trapped between the packaging and the product. This can cause irregular rust stains.
  • The water features must be placed on a sturdy, level surface.
  • We advise against using Corten steel within a radius of 2 km of a coastline.
  • During the rusting process, rust water may run off the product.
  • The warranty is void if you drill or grind in a manner not prescribed.
  • The pH value of the water must be neutral (7) so that the material is not affected.
  • Clean annually by spraying coarse dirt off the product with tap water.

Use in frost

  1. Lower the water level to below the overflow pipe. This is approximately 10 cm below the rim. Note! The pump must be submerged.
  2. Always unplug the pump during frost.
  3. We recommend a frost protector. These are available for purchase at garden centers or hardware stores.
