- Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
Important points to note:
- Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product does not remain trapped. This can cause irregular rust stains.
- Ensure proper drainage.
- Do not use an overflow pipe; no excess water should remain in the Corten steel planter. The material can then rust through due to a combination of moisture, oxygen, and soil.
- Do not use hydro granules: these retain moisture.
- We advise against using Corten steel within a radius of 2 km of a coastline.
- During the rusting process, rust water may run off the product.
- The warranty is void if you drill or grind in a manner that is not prescribed.
