This round Corten steel planter gives gardens a powerful, stylish, and warm appearance. This is due to the orange-brown color of the material, which forms through a natural layer of rust. Another name for Corten steel is weathering steel: weather conditions have a positive influence on this planter.
Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron, to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material becomes covered with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer provides protection against further corrosion. As a result, the planter has a long lifespan.
