This green houseplant is also known as Dypsis Lutenscens. The Areca palm belongs to the palm family. The palm is also called the golden palm.

The Areca palm does not like direct sunlight. Preferably place the Areca palm in a spot with partial shade and at least 5 meters away from the window.

The potting soil of the Areca Palm should always feel slightly moist. Be careful not to overwater! The roots must not be submerged.
