Luzula sylvatica, also known as woodland rush, is a strong, evergreen ornamental grass-like plant with broad, glossy dark green leaves. This perennial is particularly suitable for shady borders, under trees and shrubs, and in natural gardens, where it brings structure and tranquility all year round. Luzula sylvatica grows well in partial shade to shade, is low-maintenance, and very hardy. Thanks to its dense growth and natural appearance, it is an excellent ground cover for more difficult, shady spots in the garden.
