Alocasia Lukiwan Care

The Alocasia Lukiwan is a tropical beauty and loves a little attention:

• Light: Place the plant in a bright spot, but avoid direct sunlight. Too much sun can burn the leaves.

• Water: Keep the soil slightly moist, but avoid letting the roots sit in water. It is better to give small amounts of water more often than too much at once.

• Humidity: This plant loves high humidity. Spray the leaves regularly or place a saucer of water nearby.

• Temperature: Does best at a constant temperature between 18 and 25°C. Avoid drafts and sudden temperature changes.

• Repotting: Repotting once every 1 to 2 years, preferably in the spring, helps the plant grow healthily.

• Note: The Alocasia may release droplets (guttation). This is normal and not a sign of illness.
