Festuca gautieri, also known as fescue, is a compact and graceful ornamental grass species with fine, fresh green foliage that forms dense cushions. This evergreen grass species is ideal for rock gardens, borders, and as a ground cover, where it brings structure and tranquility. Festuca gautieri prefers a sunny to lightly shaded location, is very low-maintenance, and is highly resistant to dry conditions. Due to its low growth and neat shape, this grass is perfect for modern and natural garden designs.
