De pot is ontworpen om planten te huisvesten met waterbestendige eigenschappen, maar volledig 100% waterdicht zijn is bij grotere, handgemaakte exemplaren lastig. Gebruik bij binnenplaatsing, zeker op houten vloeren, een plastic binnenvoering om vocht te beschermen.
