The Ficus Carica originates from Western Asia and Northwest India. Here, the fig tree thrives outdoors in the sunshine. In the Netherlands, the Ficus Carica can be kept as both an indoor and outdoor plant. If the Ficus is happy, it will be able to grow figs itself! The Ficus Carica fig tree is not a difficult plant to care for, but even this plant needs attention every now and then. Make sure you are well informed about how best to care for it. As for water, this plant likes a drink. Ensure that the soil always remains slightly moist, especially in the summer. Before each watering, feel deep into the soil with two fingers. If it is still wet from the last time, wait a moment. Too much water can cause root rot, and this is the last thing you want for your green friend.
