The Strelitzia Augusta thrives in evenly moist soil, where excess water must be able to drain away well to prevent root rot. During the growing season (spring and summer), you can fertilize the plant every two weeks with a liquid houseplant fertilizer. Regularly dusting the leaves helps with the photosynthesis process and keeps the plant healthy.
