The rusting process of Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions. Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the base and ensures that the Corten steel no longer stains. Points to note Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular rust stains.
