Orange Tree Care
Caring for an orange tree outdoors requires a sunny, sheltered location with well-draining soil. Ensure the tree receives sufficient water, especially during warm periods, but prevent the roots from standing in water by allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Fertilize the tree during the growing season with a citrus fertilizer to promote healthy growth and good fruit production. Protect the tree from the cold, as orange trees are sensitive to frost. In areas with severe winters, it may be necessary to temporarily protect the tree with a cloth or move it indoors in the autumn.
If an orange tree loses leaves, this can be due to too much water, too little sunlight, or cold. Ensure that the tree is in a sunny spot, that the soil is well-draining, and that it does not receive too much water. In cold weather, the tree can be temporarily protected to prevent further damage.

Please note: plants are a living product and may differ from the photo and description. Plants may vary by 10% in height. The height of the plant is measured vertically from the bottom of the nursery pot to the top leaf. Our plants are delivered in a plastic nursery pot. All plants are packed and shipped directly from the nursery. Plants cannot be returned. Please note: our Corten steel products are delivered unrusted. Corten steel is a ‘living’ material that can discolour and deform during the rusting process. This may result in irregularities in colour and shape. Some products are custom-made. These products cannot be returned. Therefore, please always contact us in advance to discuss this. The photos of garden furnishing products were taken from ground level. Please note that adjustable feet or placement feet may be present under the product. These must be attached to a concrete foundation. Read our general terms and conditions.
