This vigorous climber is surprisingly easy to maintain and places few demands on its environment:

• Light: The plant thrives everywhere, from full sun to the deepest shade. In a bright spot, the variegated white-green pattern of the leaves often becomes even more intense.

• Water: Water regularly, especially during dry periods and immediately after planting. In a pot, the plant needs watering more often than in open ground.

• Pruning: You can prune the plant throughout the year to keep it in the desired shape. For a neat result, two pruning sessions per year (spring and late summer) are ideal.

• Winter hardiness: The Persian ivy is very robust and survives severe frost without losing its leaves.
