Standard material thickness of the Corten steel is 3 mm. Other material thicknesses are also possible.

Customization is possible.
Products are delivered unrusted. The rusting process of Corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the planter and ensures that the Corten steel no longer stains.

Important points to note:

Products must be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture between the packaging and the product is not trapped. This can cause irregular rust stains.
Ensure proper drainage.
Do not use an overflow pipe; no excess water should remain in the Corten steel planter. The material may rust through due to a combination of oxygen and soil.
Do not use hydro granules: these retain moisture.
We advise against using Corten steel within a radius of 2 km from a coastline.
During the rusting process, rust water may run off the product.
The warranty is void if you drill or grind in a manner that is not prescribed.

PLANTING ADVICE:

Fill the planter with a layer of Ø35 mm sorting pebbles (approx. 10 cm).
Place a water-permeable root barrier fabric over the pebbles.
Cover the root barrier fabric with soil suitable for your type of planting.
