The Strelizia is a beautiful plant that is quite difficult to keep alive in the Dutch climate. That is why you are probably better off purchasing this artificial Strelizia. You will hardly notice the difference, because with its beautiful silk leaves, it gives a ‘just like the real thing’ feeling. Actually quite a sustainable choice when you think about it. The Dutch name Paradijsvogelbloem (Bird of Paradise Flower) comes from the magnificent flowers that grow on the Strelizia in the tropics. With purple and orange, they look just like birds. The Bird of Paradise flower does not bloom in Dutch living rooms, so our artificial Strelizia is also delivered without flowers. The large leaves are a delight in themselves.
