Eigenlijk staat bijna elke plant prachtig in een bruine pot! De warme kleur vormt een schitterend contrast met heldergroene bladplanten zoals de Calathea, pannenkoekplant of de Strelitzia. Ook planten met een rode of paarse bladtekening, zoals de Begonia of de Alocasia, komen in een bruine pot extra luxueus en warm tot hun recht.
Hoe maak ik de binnenkant van een gebruikte pot schoon voor een nieuwe plant?
Als je een pot opnieuw wilt gebruiken, is het verstandig om deze eerst goed schoon te maken om eventuele schimmels of bacteriën te verwijderen. Was de pot grondig af met warm water en een milde zeep of een beetje azijn. Spoel de pot daarna goed na met schoon water en laat hem volledig drogen voordat je er een nieuwe plant in zet.
