Yucca Rostrata is een onderhoudsvriendelijke plant die gedijt in droge omstandigheden. Geef de plant matig water en zorg ervoor dat de grond goed doorlatend is om wortelrot te voorkomen. Plaats de plant op een zonnige locatie, want ze houdt van veel direct zonlicht. Snoei dode bladeren regelmatig om de plant gezond en aantrekkelijk te houden. In de winter kan Yucca Rostrata lichte vorst verdragen, maar het is goed om de wortels te beschermen tegen extreme kou.
