De Dracaena Golden Coast is een onderhoudsvriendelijke plant die goed gedijt in helder indirect licht, maar ook kan overleven in gedeeltelijke schaduw. Houd de grond licht vochtig, maar zorg ervoor dat de wortels niet in het water staan om wortelrot te voorkomen. Deze plant heeft een voorkeur voor gemiddelde kamertemperaturen tussen de 16°C en 24°C en kan korte periodes lagere temperaturen verdragen. Met zijn luchtzuiverende eigenschappen draagt de Drakenplant bij aan een gezondere leefomgeving.
